A successful garden and high-quality external environment always begin with professional and detailed planning. Thoughtfully developed landscape architectural design provides the foundation for durable, functional and aesthetically refined gardens and outdoor spaces.

1. Initial Appraisal
Analysis & Consultation

Initial client consultation, site survey and analysis of the property based on existing conditions and available documentation (e.g. topographical surveys). Definition of project objectives and functional requirements.

2. Concept Design
Garden Concept

Development of an initial design proposal forming the conceptual basis for the future garden and landscape scheme.

3. Developed Design
Masterplan

Refinement of the concept into a detailed masterplan including supporting drawings such as layouts, sections and elevations. A preliminary construction cost estimate may be prepared if required.

4. Planning
Statutory Approvals

Preparation and submission of all necessary documentation required for statutory approvals and planning permissions. This stage is often coordinated with the building architect but may also be commissioned independently.

5. Technical Design
Detailed Planning

Preparation of precise construction drawings forming the basis for landscape implementation, including:

Tender Documentation & Procurement

Preparation of quantities, technical specifications and detailed cost proposals for the implementation of the external works, including indicative construction timelines. Additional contractor tenders may be obtained upon client request.

8 & 9. Combined
Site Supervision & Project Delivery

Monitoring of construction works, quality assurance and cost control, together with final inspection and certification of completed works. Following project completion, a final site review is undertaken to document and ensure construction quality.
